TAFE SA Amazing Race Adelaide

A beautiful Adelaide day was the scene of an epic race around Adelaide which saw 69 tourism and event management students commit to a 7 km race taking them north, east south and west. The racers saw and experienced the sounds, sights and the tastes of the CBD which visits to Botanical Gardens, Art Gallery, Museum, Elder Park historic boats and Adelaide famous central market. Along the way the 10 teams were put through their pacers in all departments of physical, mental, emotional and maybe sometimes spiritual which our various challenges along the way.

Highlights and lowlights were definitely seeing how the teams came together and committed to the challenges. It was a broad spectrum of team dynamics ranging from very committed and team work focused to non committal, passionless and full of conflict. The differences in personalities,strengths and weaknesses and generations were very prevalent and created mixed results. Overall the teams completed the epic 3 hours of racing and most got something really important out of their race and a taste into the world of business tourism.
