The Water Taxi Treasure Hunt is an action-packed team building activity that blends adventure, problem solving and a race against the clock. Set on either Sydney Harbour or Melbourne’s Yarra River, this thrilling event is designed to encourage teamwork and strengthen connections through a unique and exciting shared experience.

Each team will cruise the water in their very own private water taxi, navigating between activity checkpoints using custom maps and cryptic clues. Along the way, they’ll complete fun challenges to earn pieces of a secret code—unlocking their team’s treasure at the final destination!

Suitable for teams for up to 120, this program is tailored to your preferred start and finish locations and can run from almost any wharf with access to the harbour or river. Popular start and finish points include:

• Sydney: Circular Quay, Watsons Bay, Lavender Bay, Cockatoo Island, Pyrmont, Rose Bay, Mosman and more.

Example Water Taxi Treasure Hunt Challenges

Shipwrecked – Teams use paddle pop sticks and sticky tape to build a floating ship. The more pirate coins it can carry without sinking, the more points they’ll earn.

Cannons – Use a replica catapult to launch foam cannonballs towards a target zone, where your teammates are ready to catch. Teamwork and precision are key!

Marooned – You’re stranded and sinking fast. Teams must choose a limited number of survival items from a list—only the most strategic selections will see you through.
