team building Sydney benefits of survivor program

Beyond the Boardroom offers a variety of programs and can tailor activities that will best fit your company's needs and desired outcomes. One of the hot favourites is Survivor, which launched back in 2005 on Kangaroo Island with client, Flight Centre. Since then it has become incredibly popular, now running in Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Kangaroo Island and Margaret River.

So what's Survivor all about?

Survivor breaks the group into the tribes where they then start applying different kinds of strategies with the aim to finish the series of challenges and activities to beat their fellow tribe. Conceptualized from the famous TV show Survivor, the program will surely challenge them, helping to highlight any communication problems and encourage them to start working as one. Each team is allowed to approach the activities with different strategies within the team rules. These strategies are to Outwit, Outlast and Outplay. The strategies are needed as the resources available to fulfill these goals are limited. Setting goals and determining actions will be the backbone of their teamwork.

The tribes are formed and issued their team bandannas and then they create their tribe chant. The chants will act as a form of motivation to the team, up lifting their spirits.

The Survivor program includes a lot of challenges and puzzles which make it more fun and engaging. A great way for team members to discover hidden talents or strengths while making their way through activities. It's amazing what people come up when having to think outside the box!

Beyond the Boardroom team building programs are not your typical team building programs. We make sure that each and every participant in the program will be challenged while having fun. Our aim is for everyone to feel re energised and inspired!

Edgemill Group engaged the services of Adventures Beyond in conjunction with our Annual Sales Conference being held in the Barossa.

"We were looking for a team building activity to encourage teamwork and working together on creating solutions to problems. What better way to do this outside of the office environment than with a friendly but competitive spin on Survivor!

We loved that the Survivor experience was engaging, highlighted our strengths and weaknesses and above all, so much fun!

This experience allowed us all to think outside the box, focus on what is important in our day to day interactions with each other and how important it is for everyone to be focussed on a common goal.

We really look forward to our next team challenge with Adventures Beyond!"
