Skateboard It Forward is a meaningful and engaging CSR team-building activity that goes beyond construction to create real impact for young people. Working together, your team will build complete skateboards that are donated to youth who need positive outlets, mentorship, and community support.
Skateboarding is more than just a sport, it builds perseverance, problem-solving skills, and belonging. Skate parks foster teamwork, resilience, and self-expression, helping young people stay engaged in school, avoid negative influences, and develop leadership skills.
This purposeful experience allows your team to contribute to lasting change while strengthening connection, empathy, and collaboration.
The session begins with an inspiring keynote exploring the power of skateboarding, mentorship, and resilience, and the positive role these play in youth development. Participants then form small teams and are provided with all materials and tools required to build a skateboard from the ground up.
Each team collaborates to assemble their board, problem-solve together, and ensure it meets quality standards. To complete the experience, teams write a heartfelt message of encouragement to accompany their skateboard, creating a personal connection between giver and recipient.
Once completed, all skateboards are donated to young people in need through our charity partner Red Frogs, an organisation dedicated to supporting youth in making positive life choices and becoming influential changemakers.
