Water Works is a meaningful charity team-building event that combines collaboration, empathy, and real-world impact.
With nearly 1 billion people lacking access to safe drinking water, and waterborne diseases claiming the lives of 1.8 million children each year, this program gives your team the opportunity to directly contribute to a life-changing solution.
Through a guided, hands-on experience, delegates construct emergency water filtration units that are donated to communities experiencing unsafe drinking water, helping reduce the prevalence of life-threatening waterborne diseases.

The session begins with a short presentation that introduces the global water crisis, explains where the filtration units will be distributed, and highlights the real human impact of unsafe water. Delegates are then divided into small teams and provided with flat-pack water filtration kits.
To deepen empathy and collaboration, most team members are blindfolded during the build process, requiring clear communication, trust, and teamwork to successfully assemble the filtration system.
Once complete, teams personalise their unit with artwork before it is sent to our charity partner for distribution in communities without access to clean water.
For every ‘Emergency’ filtration unit your team builds, a second unit is donated on your behalf.
