The Sydney Water Taxi Treasure Hunt transforms Sydney Harbour into your team’s playground. Teams compete in private, skippered water taxis, racing against the clock to solve clues, tackle hands-on challenges, and collect pieces of a secret code to unlock hidden treasure. With the city skyline as your backdrop, this event is a unique, immersive, and fun way to bring teams together.
Teams of 8–10 participants are each assigned a private water taxi and skipper. Using custom maps and cryptic clues, teams navigate through key harbour checkpoints located at stunning harbourside spots like Circular Quay, Lavender Bay, Rose Bay, Cockatoo Island, and beyond.
At each location, teams complete treasure-hunt themed challenges to earn pieces of a secret code. The challenges test teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Once all code pieces are collected, teams race to the final destination to unlock the treasure and claim victory.

Shipwrecked – Construct a floating vessel from paddle pop sticks and tape capable of holding the pirate coins your team earns. The more coins it holds, the higher your score.
Cannons – Fire foam “cannonballs” from a catapult towards a target while your team members catch the payload.
Marooned – Make strategic survival decisions about which supplies to save from a sinking ship to maximise points.
