How It Works

Your group will be divided into teams of 5–8 people, briefed, and challenged to earn their first clue. Once the race begins, teams navigate on foot between checkpoints, completing exciting challenges and collecting points along the way.

This isn’t about speed! It’s about teamwork, communication, and strategy. The goal? To reach the finish line with the highest score, not necessarily the fastest time.

Every team receives an Amazing Race Pack, complete with a map, bandanas, and clues to guide their adventure.

Our facilitators manage all logistics, equipment, and safety, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

The winning team takes home medallions as bragging rights, while everyone walks away with stronger connections and plenty of laughs.

With start and finish locations completely tailored to you, your race can end with a final all-in team challenge in the park, a celebratory drink at a local venue, or back at your office or conference space.

What To Expect

Each checkpoint presents a unique team challenge that encourages creativity, collaboration, and a good laugh. We have over 50 unique challenges in our wheelhouse that can be tailored to suit the demographics of your group or your theme for the day. Examples include:

House of Cards: Arrange 16 tiles into a 4×4 grid where every row, column, and diagonal is unique.
Catapults: Fire tennis balls with team-built catapults and catch them in the landing zone.
T Puzzle: Work together to strategically arrange tangram pieces to reveal a “T” for Team!

Teams can also earn bonus points by capturing team photos and collecting scavenger items along the way.

Many groups choose to start at their head office, a nearby park, or a conference venue, and finish at a favourite local spot, often a bar or restaurant. You can also head back to the office or any destination you have in mind.

No. Our team-building activities are designed to meet the corporate brief, which means that we understand that some individuals may have pre-existing injuries or different levels of physical fitness. The activities themselves are not physically tiring. Walking from each challenge site is the most physical exercise you will do.

Of course! It wouldn’t be a race without a prize for the winner. You will receive genuine Beyond the Boardroom fake gold medals for your corporate amazing race win.

Yes! If it is only drizzling, we provide ponchos, and your Amazing Race can continue. If the weather is looking dire, with heavy rain and high winds, your facilitator will provide a backup wet-weather activity. We just need you to organise an indoor location to host this in, usually your conference room or office.

Yes, we have been facilitating Amazing Race team-building activities for many years. We know the ins and outs of all Australian capital cities to provide expert advice and facilitate a fantastic program.

Make sure to wear comfortable clothing, runners, or flat shoes that are comfortable to walk in, and a hat or sunglasses. We always recommend organising your conference venue to provide water for your event OR bring your own water to minimise waste. Make sure you take your phone to snap some pics of you and your team having some well-deserved fun.
